Misty Ann Giles, Director of Administration
The Montana Department of Administration (DOA) provides support services that keep the Montana State Government operating efficiently. The department offers a wide range of statewide services, including accounting and financial management, human resources and workforce support, information technology systems, maintenance, procurement and purchasing, and risk management.
In addition, DOA oversees major state building and construction projects, ensures state employees have access to comprehensive benefits and insurance programs, and supports responsible financial stewardship across agencies. Through the Banking and Financial Institutions Division, DOA also regulates state-chartered banks, credit unions, and other licensed financial entities, helping maintain a stable and secure financial system for Montanans.
